Description
Multi-layer lacquer, primer, intermediate and finish, semi-gloss solvent alkyd, for outdoor use. Of superior quality, this lacquer regulates moisture, is extremely resistant to pollution, sunlight, and weather conditions.
Purpose
High-end and very durable primer, intermediate and finishing coat for outdoor use. Applicable on raw or previously painted woodwork. Also suitable for all prepared outdoor surfaces such as metal surfaces (with appropriate primer or well-adhered old paint), or other types of supports (hard PVC, wall tiles, etc.).

Surface preparation
For good results, the surface must be well prepared. New surfaces: Clean and dust off; allow to dry thoroughly. Renovation: Remove parts not adhering to the surface to be painted; degrease old layers, roughen and dust off; touch up if necessary. Wood: The wood must be dry (max. 18% moisture). Metals: Treat any rust and, if needed, apply a rustproofing agent. On metals exposed outdoors (even if sound), apply an appropriate primer (rustproofing).
Application
Apply 2 coats of Trilak Alkyd with brush, roller or spray gun (if airless: pressure 60 to 100 bars, nozzle opening from 0.011 inches, angle 30° to 50°). Thinning: Ready to use. On absorbent surfaces, thin the first coat with 5 to 10% white spirit. Do not thin the following coat(s). Stir well before use and before thinning.
Cleaning of tools
With white spirit or synthetic thinner, immediately after use.
Finish
Colour: white and light shades from our colour charts achievable with our machines. Appearance: semi-gloss.
Characteristics
Binder: modified alkyd resins. Pigments: titanium dioxide and natural fillers. Solvent: aliphatic, aromatic and hydrogenated aromatic hydrocarbons. Coverage*: ~12 m²/L Density: ~1.35 g/ml. Dry extract (weight): 71 to 73%. (*) Coverage is calculated based on the work of a professional craftsman, on a surface with normal absorption, and may vary depending on the working method, surface and weather conditions.
Drying time
Touch dry: ~6 hours. Recoatable: ~24 hours. (Under conditions of 20°C and 50% relative humidity; drying time will be longer if temperature is lower or humidity higher).
Limitations
Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C
Do not apply at temperatures of 10°C and relative humidity below 80%
Storage
At least 12 months in unopened original packaging, in a dry and cool place. Keep from freezing.
